Shotgun Sports Facilities:

TRAP

ASC has two regulation trap fields and a double trap field. Trap is open to members and the public during Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 3pm if the weather is fair and the forecast high temperature is 32 degrees or warmer. We close earlier if there are no shooters.

5 STAND

During warm weather months it is open if there are enough shooters present, roughly during the same operating hours as the trap fields, except 5-stand has no lights so it is not open past sunset. We close earlier if there are no shooters.

SKEET

ASC has two regulation skeet fields that are open to Members with keys and their guests on a “self serve” basis. Members are required to participate in a brief class on the safe operation and loading of the clay target machines and are then given a key to the skeet houses. The classes are given on an as-needed basis and coordinated by contacting the shotgun sports chairman. The public may shoot skeet on the same days and times as the trap hours listed above, except that Skeet shooting stops 30 minutes after sunset.

SPORTING CLAYS

ASC features a 10 station, 100 round sporting clays course for Members with keys and their guests on a “self serve” basis. Check the Club Calendar for dates when Sporting Clays is open to the public. Sporting Clays shooting stops 30 minutes after sunset.

Handthrowers and Patterning Boards are available to Members and their guests only. Guests must sign a waiver form and wear a wristband when using the handthrowers and patterning board. Guests must be under the direct supervision of the Member at all times. Members may bring their own clays and use the hand-throwers any time during shotgun shooting hours: 8:00 am to sunset, 365 days a year. There is no charge for members using the handthrowers. Shooting stops at sunset.
