Sporting Clays Open Shoot -On Saturday May 18, 2013 the gates to the Sporting Clays Course will open at 10:00 am for an open shoot. The public is welcome and everyone shoots at member rates: $25.00 for 100 targets, $12.50 for 50 targets. Instruction on how to shoot the clays course will be available for free every hour on the hour from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. No pre-registration required. Shooters must bring: shotgun, target load shells in size 7, 7 1/2, 8 or 9 (lead is permitted), eye and ear protection.

June 15, 2013 National Take Your Daughter to the Range Day. Bring your daughters, granddaughters and nieces to the range for a wonderful day of safety education and supervised shooting with instructors. No experience necessary. No FOID or pre-registration required.

Oakley Day Shoot, July 21, 2013. Join the Aurora Sportsmen’s Club and SAFER USA for a shooting and socializing event celebrating American exhibition sharpshooter Annie Oakley’s contributions to the shooting sports. No experience is necessary, FOID card not required.
Includes: a basic firearms safety briefing, shooting instruction, use of firearms, ammunition, eye and ear protection, light snacks and cold beverages. Participants will have the opportunity to shoot a modern pistol, rifle and shotgun. Preregistration required at www.SaferUSA.com.
New Member Orientation and Enrollment: Orientations are scheduled each month on the second Saturday at 10:00 AM and fourth Sunday at 2:00 PM in 2013 with the exception of May and December. There will be a special weekday orientation Thursday, May 23, at 2:00 pm. Tours of the Club facilities will be available one hour prior to each Orientation.
