Designated Marksman Matches (DMR)

DMR matches will test a shooter's ability to rapidly engage targets from close distances to 600 yards. Matches will consist of 6-8 stages, and targets will average 3 MOA in size (e.g. 12" at 400 yards). Shooters are expected to bring their rifle zeroed, and their verified DOPE out to 600 yards. Shooters are allowed one rifle for the match.
Part of the unique fun of this match is that while shooters may carry auxiliary equipment to use as they see appropriate, all equipment must be carried by the shooter and remain with them throughout the entire TIMED SEGMENT of each stage; this includes all ammunition for the entire match. Plan your loadout appropriately. Heart rate will be increased moderately via physical exertion during some stages to induce stress!
Useful (but not mandatory) equipment includes bipod, sling, kneepads, tripod, shooting bag, rangefinder, kestrel or ballistic app on phone, pencil/paper, arm data board, additional ammo, and a bag/pack.
Carts, rifle bags or strollers may be used for transportation of rifles and equipment between stages. Use of these items is not allowed during stage courses of fire.
Scoring will be Time Plus Misses.
There are 3 Divisions to classify a shooter's rifle configuration. While this match is best suited for scoped semi-automatic rifles, shooters with an LPVO or a bolt gun are welcome. At minimum, an optic magnification of 4x is required. 5.56, .308, 6.5 Creedmoor and 6mm cartridges are common.

Night Shoot Competitions

ASC Night Match Competition is a low-light engagement competition built to test the shooter’s gear and ability to acquire, identify, and engage threats under night conditions. Participants will navigate four to six dynamic stages involving physical exertion—running, climbing, and moving obstacles—while locating and engaging targets at distances ranging from 5 to 300 yards. Expect real-world challenges that push both mindset and equipment.
This is not a beginner’s match. You are expected to have the fundamentals of your firearms down and have the ability to operate your night vision equipment and white lights.
