Outdoor gear flea market/garage sale to raise funds for SADEC’s efforts toward preserving our Second Amendment rights. Members and their accompanied guests are welcome to participate.

Suggested donation from private sellers is 25-50% of sales but give what you can. Buyers are encouraged to be generous with offers. Member-owned businesses are welcome to sell products or services for a reasonable percentage of sales.

Items must be related to outdoor sports: shooting, camping, hunting, archery, rocketry, fishing, off-roading, boating, etc. Participants are solely responsible for following applicable item transfer laws.

Set up from 7-8am on August 26^th and sales from 8am-2pm. Leftover items 2-4pm will be free to takers. Items not removed by 4pm will be discarded.

Interested in learning about National Match competition with U.S. military issue rifles?
Don't have a U.S. military issue rifle, use ours!

ASC, in conjunction with the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), will conduct National Match Course Clinics.

ASC will furnish:

• Service Grade M1 Garands or Match Grade AR-15 rifles (your choice)
• M1 Carbines are available for Juniors
• 45 Rounds of Ammunition
• 1.5 hours of Classroom Instruction
• 2.0 hours of Range Time

Donations to defray costs are:

Class Information

Reservations should be made for a particular rifle type and a specific date.

Location: ASC West Side Range Building. You will be met at the entry gate for the Rifle/Pistol ranges. Travel South on Waterman Rd to Reuff Rd. Than West 1 mile to the Second gate on the North side.

The entire clinic - classroom and range time - lasts approximately 3 hours. We shoot rain or shine.

"Please note that leaving a message on the ASC voice mail or E-Mail at other times does not constitute a reservation."

Ear and eye protection is mandatory and can be supplied.

Proper shooting clothing, such as a long-sleeve shirt, long pants, and elbow pads are strongly recommended.

Our Second Annual Winter Shoot in Waterman will be held this November!

The date is November 11^th, from 0800 to 1500, rain, snow, or shine.

I am totally open as to ideas on games to play, food options, etc. I’m looking to give out a memento to every participant, have a few prizes for winners of target games, and plan on using the West Side building for food and such. Anyone who wishes to bring breakfast or lunch, please let me know. It’ll be open to CMP staff, BOD, and all ASC members interested in CMP. Jerry Janik will be present with his mortar training equipment and instruct inside the WS building! Of course, participants will use their own rifles and ammo so bring out anything interesting.

Sign up on the ASC website calendar so I have a better estimate on many will attend. Please call me if you’d like to bring any food or refreshments. Hopefully we can make this an annual event, just as we did in Sugar Grove.

In lieu of reenacting, we will be honoring our Vets. 

And again, thanks to all of you for helping to maintain such a great training program!
