ASC Shooter's Lodge
The ASC Shooter's Lodge is a fully functional lodging and conference facility
that is capable of sleeping 14 guests. Beds consist of two sets of twin
bunks in three bedrooms and one full size in another bedroom. Linens,
towels, and many other amenities are provided. There are three bathrooms
and full laundry facilities. The kitchen and grill allow guests to prepare a
meal after a day of training on the range. The conference room, complete
with a 65" TV, allows trainers to have an early morning planning meeting
with their staff or a safety meeting with class participants. After a day of
training, guests can relax on comfortable couches in the den and watch
movies on the 50" TV. The bunkhouse is equipped with WiFi and is only
minutes from the range.

The class will discuss the capabilities of the Baofeng UV5R and Similar radios along with the Wouxun UVD1P radios (they are very similar to each other). We will walk the menu structure of the radios, discuss optimum settings, discuss accessories, antennas, and build a quick field antenna that will dramatically improve the performance of your radio in the field. Finally, we will do some field practice, so dress for the weather.
