This is a sporting clays station that is used by instructors for shotgun instruction. - Not available for general membership use.
Sporting Clays Event - 8:30 am - 2:00 pm
Join us for a 100-shot game of sporting clays! Guests are welcome. Prizes will be awarded to the top scorer in each of the three categories: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. If you’re new to the game, let us know, and we’ll pair you with a volunteer who will show you the course and shoot with you.
Fee Information:
- Members: Members will use their card reader card for themselves and any guests they bring. No wristbands for guests at this event.

Directions: From Hwy 30 in Waterman, go south on Elm St. a little over 1 mile. Turn west on Rueff Rd. a little over ½ mile and turn south into the Sporting Clays gate.

The ASC Shotgun and Special Programs Departments, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) and the Illinois Conservation Foundation (ICF) will be hosting three Wingshooting Clinics on August 15-16 2025 at ASC. These 4-hour clinics are open to shotgun shooters ages 16 years and up.
The clays course will be open for member use during the clinics.
