8:00 am	ASC Outlaw Steel Challenge E1 through E5 Outlaw Steel Challenge is like traditional steel challenge with a caveat; the goal of this outlaw format is to test your shooting ability rather than your ability to memorize patterns. The matches consists of 5 stages setup one stage per bay. Each stage will have an array of 5 pieces of static steel with one piece of steel painted a different color to indicate that it’s the stop plate, which is the plate that you shoot last. Calibers allowed: 22lr, 38 special, 9mm, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP. The divisions consist of rimfire 22 lr pistols and rifles; iron sight and optics, Centerfire PCC, and all centerfire handguns. Setup starts at 8 am. All attendees please take part in setup if you can. Check in starts at 8 am. Safety Brief at 8:45 am. All attendees must be present for the safety brief to participate in the event. 8:30 am	Sporting Clays Event Come join us at our Sporting Clays event- 8:30 am-2:00 pm. ASC has a 15 station Sporting Clays corse that offers challenges for both beginners and advanced shooters. We will have prizes for top shooters at each menu level, B-beginners, I-intermediate and A-advanced, so every skill level shooter has a chance to win. If you are coming by yourself, no worries, we will place you in a group or provide someone to pull for you. Any type of shotgun can be used for this event, pump, semi auto, over under, side by side, as well as, all gauges. If you have never shot Sporting Clays, we will assign you a volunteer to help demonstrate the game and walk you through the first several stations. This event is open to the public, bring as many guests as you wish so they can shoot at member rates. The class will discuss the capabilities of the Baofeng UV5R and Similar radios along with the Wouxun UVD1P radios (they are very similar to each other). We will walk the menu structure of the radios, discuss optimum settings, discuss accessories, antennas, and build a quick field antenna that will dramatically improve the performance of your radio in the field. Finally, we will do some field practice, so dress for the weather.

The member will be asked these questions: - What caliber are you shooting? - What does your ballistic table show the bullet drop at 600 yards? - Based on the bullet drop, how many Minutes of Angle (MOA) is that equal to? - Based on the calculated MOA, how many clicks or Mil Dots were adjusted on your Scope/Sights for this MOA? - All of the above information may be located on your phone, tablet, and notebook or printed out. The important factor is that the shooter fully understands the calculations for bullet drop out to 600 yards. If the information is not correctly answered, the member may not shoot to qualify. Having satisfactorily proven the member knows long-range shooting data, they will be allowed to shoot 3-5 shots at a target set out at 600 yards. Their rounds must impact on or at least near (3-5 feet) the target in the SAFE area on the 9’ smaller berm. Impacts on the 50’ large berm are not safe. The shooter will be allowed to check the scope setting, make an adjustment, and shoot again. If the round impacts on the 50’ unsafe area again, they DO NOT qualify. Shooters, who have safely completed the shooting test, will be issued a 600 Yard Certification Stickers to be placed on their badge, until such time as a new badge is issued.
