TASC Gear Clinic 2025TASC is for ASC MEMBERS ONLY. You MUST bring your member badge to participate. This is the mandatory gear clinic for the ASC TASC program for the year 2025. If you have already taken this clinic, there is no need to re-take it. In the clinic, we will go over gear selection, setup, optional items, and gear that will not be allowed. You can NOT participate in the intro class unless you have attended this session. Bring any gear you have questions about, and we'll help you get it configured properly. CMP M1 Carbine/M1A Cleaning PartyASC-Waterman, a CMP-affiliated organization, will conduct a class in the “Proper Care and Feeding” of your CMP-type rifle on the following dates:
Location: ASC West Side Range Building. You will be met at the entry gate for the Rifle/Pistol ranges. Travel South on Waterman Rd to Reuff Rd. Than West 1 mile to the Second gate on the North side. The cost will be $25 each. We will supply all cleaning gear, lubricants, and tools (but bring your own cleaning rod if you can.) Bring your own rifle (BYOR). No ammunition. Proper disassembly, inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and reassembly will be covered. Experienced competitors and collectors will be on hand to answer questions about your rifle.
