Rimfire F Class May 2025 (Range E9)

Rimfire F Class Matches. Season runs March through October and matches take place the 4th Sunday of each month.

IDPA (Ranges E1 through E6)

ASC IDPA 
 
This will be a regular IDPA monthly Match. 6 stages with a round count of less than 100. We will have a classifier in the beginning of the season as well as another towards the end of the season.
 
Self defense and standard exercises are the basis for all IDPA matches, but the layout, course of fire and exercise details can differ greatly from match to match.
 
Pistol Caliber Carbine will be allowed. Equipment Rules for PCC are as follows... Mags limited to 30 rounds. Must have 3 mags.

1pm is typically when match ends

The NON-ASC/IDPA member fee is $25.
ASC or IDPA member fee is $15.
LEO/Active Military Fee is $15.
Competitors 17 and under shoot free.
 
ASC MEMBERS: To get your discount, you must be a current ASC member and must JOIN the ASC Practiscore page (just "Following" is not enough). If you are not already a member of the page, request to JOIN it. Once your membership is verified, you will be added to the group and you should see the discounted rate. This is the ONLY way you will see the discount.
 
Registration typically opens on Sunday morning one week prior to the match.

5-Stand, Trap, Double Trap, Pyramid Wobble Trap, Springing Teal and Skeet will be staffed and open to members and guests from 9am to 4pm every Saturday and Sunday.  Members guest are required to wear a wrist band and will use the members game card to play the games.

Anyone interested in experiencing the shotgun games on the days we are staffed, is encouraged to contact the Shotgun Department at shotgun@aurorasc.org.

Puller tips are appreciated, so please bring cash for tip and credit card for games

If new to the games, we have pullers and volunteers that can show you how to play the games and pull for you.

  Come to the skeet/trap/5-stand field with:

  • Any gauge shotgun
  • Safety glasses
  • Hearing protection and boxes of target load lead or steel ammunition in shot sizes 7 1/2, 8 or 9.

Shooters may share a shotgun on this course. Please locate one of our Pullers (in Orange) upon arrival. The field is on Rueff Rd, Waterman, Illinois and has a sign that says skeet/trap/archery.

PRS Rimfire Match (600 Yard Range Closed for Match)

The PRS Rimfire Series is both a regional and club-level series formed by Rimfire MD’s, shooters, and our partners.

Typical COF:
The course of fire will be 7-10 stages. 70-120+ rounds of 22LR engaging steel targets from 25 to 400 yards. There is a good mix between prone, barricade and positional stages. Steel targets sized from 1/4" to 8" depending on the stage description.

MJ Law Tactical - Fundamental Pistol (E4)

This class is designed for new/beginner shooters but also a great refresher for avid shooters. A comprehensive breakdown of grip, stance and target acquisition. The remainder of the class students will be able to utilize those techniques at our outdoor range.
