5-Stand, Trap, Double Trap, Pyramid Wobble Trap, Springing Teal and Skeet will be staffed and open to members and guests from 9am to 4pm every Saturday and Sunday.  Members guest are required to wear a wrist band and will use the members game card to play the games.

Puller tips are appreciated, so please bring cash for tip and credit card for games

If new to the games, we have pullers and volunteers that can show you how to play the games and pull for you.

  Come to the skeet/trap/5-stand field with:

  • Any gauge shotgun
  • Safety glasses
  • Hearing protection and boxes of target load lead or steel ammunition in shot sizes 7 1/2, 8 or 9.

Shooters may share a shotgun on this course. Please locate one of our Pullers (in Orange) upon arrival. The field is on Rueff Rd, Waterman, Illinois and has a sign that says skeet/trap/archery.

TASC DMR 1 Class (Ranges E10, 600)

TASC DMR 1 is open to any student that has successfully completed the TASC intro course.  It is what we call a B-Track class (not part of the main curriculum) that we offer each 4th of July holiday weekend to those interested.  If you do not participate, it will NOT impede your progress through the main curriculum
 
TASC DMR 1 is the first in a three course series that focuses on using a scoped semi-automatic rifle out to ranges of 600 yards.  Focus is on fundmentals of long range shooting including setting zero, Basic Miling, establishing come-ups (DOPE) out to 600 yards, and basic wind adjustments. Required equipment is a semi-automatic magazine fed rifle, a magnified optic with a Mil based reticle that maxes out at about 12-14 power (bottom end 1-3).  1-10x and 3-15 are very popular. 200 rounds of match-grade ammunition (75 or 77 grain for 223, 168 or 175 grain for 308, equivalent for other calibers).  Two magazines, 10-20 rounds are best.

TASC DMR 2 is the second in a three course series that focuses on using a scoped semi-automatic rifle out to ranges of 600 yards.  Focus is on making a range card, range estimation (no Laser Range Finder) in foliage/unknown distance, setup hasty OP, engage "occluded hostile shooter", shoot from elevated pos on table (hasty position). Start in hunting area, lunch, then 600 range.
 
Required equipment is a semi-automatic magazine fed rifle, a magnified optic with a Mil based reticle that maxes out at about 12-14 power (bottom end 1-3).  1-10x and 3-15 are very popular. 200 rounds of match-grade ammunition (75 or 77 grain for 223, 168 or 175 grain for 308, equivalent for other calibers).  Two magazines, 10-20 rounds are best.
