$8 ($4/$5 Junior depending on the game) per game for 25 clays (cash only at this time). Double Trap is 50 clays. Come to the skeet/trap/5-stand field with:

  • Any gauge shotgun
  • Safety glasses
  • Hearing protection and boxes of target load lead or steel ammunition in shot sizes 7 1/2, 8 or 9.

Shooters may share a shotgun on this course. Please locate one of our Pullers (in Orange) upon arrival. The field is on Rueff Rd, Waterman, Illinois and has a sign that says skeet/trap/archery.

Greybeard Actual Vehicle Engagement

Greybeard Actual Vehicle Engagement 2 Day Pistol Class. 

This physically intensive two-day course focuses on tactics and techniques for armed engagements in and around vehicles. This class will apply combat proven TTPs designed for responding to a coordinated attack, adapted to the environment and student audience as well as lessons learned from law enforcement engagements. Fighting in and around vehicles present a unique set of challenges. This course is designed to give the student a thorough understanding of the hazards and principles involved in these extremely high risk situations. Both a civilian version and a LE only version are available. 

Ammo available if purchased 2 weeks or more prior to class date.

Course Prerequisites 

  • Good health and a fitness level sufficient for strenuous physical activity. All our classes incorporate vigorous athletic movement.
  • All our classes require safe weapons handling at an unconsciously competent level of skill. This includes weapons safety during dynamic movement and under physical and mental stress. Flagrant or negligent unsafe actions will result in removal from a class without refund.
  • This class, and all of our open enrollment tactics classes require at least one of the following prerequisites: 
    • Completion of our Pistol, Carbine, or Pistol/Carbine Skill Development courses, or an equivalent course from a reputable instructor.
    • A minimum C classification in USPSA or Expert in IDPA
    • Completion of a certified Law Enforcement training academy or military special operations pipeline

Equipment Requirements

  • Serviceable pistol of 9mm or larger caliber, minimum 3 magazines (6 for single stack guns), belt, holster and at a minimum two mag pouches capable of retaining weapon and magazines during strenuous movement. Minimum 1,000 rounds of ammunition, although more is recommended. Eye/ear protection for range. No Serpa holsters or soft nylon/leather holsters permitted in class. 
  • (Optional) Serviceable carbine, if pistol caliber then 9mm or larger, if rifle caliber 5.56 or larger. Minimum 3 magazines, belt and at least one magazine pouch capable of retaining magazine during strenuous movement, and a secure sling. Minimum 500 rounds of ammunition although more is recommended. Eye/ear protection for range.

Bring your spouse, significant other or a good friend-Non shooters are welcome to enjoy the feast and see the games. Donations for food are welcome.

Shooters admission covers four different games, plus all you can eat and drink. Game tickets are good for any game except Sporting Clays.
Extra games can be shot using your discount card or purchasing more game cards ($5 each). There will be elimination games at trap 1 starting at 8 pm-Killer, killer pieces, blue bird etc.

Please bring at least 100 rounds of ammo 7 1/2 -9 oz loads. Eyes and ears for shooters and spectators.
