ASC IDPA 
 
This will be a regular IDPA monthly Match. 6 stages with a round count of less than 100. We will have a classifier in the beginning of the season as well as another towards the end of the season.
 
Self defense and standard exercises are the basis for all IDPA matches, but the layout, course of fire and exercise details can differ greatly from match to match.
 
Pistol Caliber Carbine will be allowed. Equipment Rules for PCC are as follows... Mags limited to 30 rounds. Must have 3 mags.

The NON-ASC/IDPA member fee is $25.
ASC or IDPA member fee is $15.
LEO/Active Military Fee is $15.
Competitors 17 and under shoot free.

If you are not already a member of the page, request to JOIN it. Once your membership is verified, you will be added to the group and you should see the discounted rate. This is the ONLY way you will see the discount.

Alpha Koncepts (2) - Defensive Shotgun

Whether you use a shotgun for home defense or for duty, the Defensive Shotgun class can make you a better shooter. The shotgun is by far the most versatile tool, able to handle threats up close and afar. If the user is properly trained, the shot gun can be used for lethal and non-lethal engagements.

We will teach you to turn the shotgun from a blunt object into a surgical scalpal. This class is for anyone who wants to master the use of their shotgun to increase their survivability in a gun fight.  

In this first phase of our Defensive Shotgun program is our Critical Shotgun skills.

- Multiple Targets at varying distances.

- Rapid target identification & acquisition.

- Multiple Reloading techniques.

- Malfunction clearance drills.

- Voice commands.

- Stress Inoculation.

- The basics of movement while shooting.

CMP Service Rifle Clinic - October 22nd, 2023

Interested in learning about National Match competition with U.S. military issue rifles?
Don't have a U.S. military issue rifle, use ours!

ASC, in conjunction with the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), will conduct National Match Course Clinics.

ASC will furnish:

  • Service Grade M1 Garands or Match Grade AR-15 rifles (your choice)
  • M1 Carbines are available for Juniors
  • 45 Rounds of Ammunition
  • 1.5 hours of Classroom Instruction
  • 2.0 hours of Range Time

Class Information

Reservations should be made for a particular rifle type and a specific date.

Location: ASC West Side Range Building. You will be met at the entry gate for the Rifle/Pistol ranges. Travel South on Waterman Rd to Reuff Rd. Than West 1 mile to the Second gate on the North side.

The entire clinic - classroom and range time - lasts approximately 3 hours. We shoot rain or shine.

Ear and eye protection is mandatory and can be supplied.

Proper shooting clothing, such as a long-sleeve shirt, long pants, and elbow pads are strongly recommended.

Participation in a CMP Clinic fulfills one of the requirements to purchase a surplus M1 Garand Rifle from the Civilian Marksmanship Program.

ASC Outlaw Steel Challenge E1 through E5

Outlaw Steel Challenge is like traditional steel challenge with a caveat; the goal of this outlaw format is to test your shooting ability rather than your ability to memorize patterns.
 
The matches consists of 5 stages setup one stage per bay. Each stage will have an array of 5 pieces of static steel with one piece of steel painted a different color to indicate that it’s the stop plate, which is the plate that you shoot last.
 
Calibers allowed: 22lr, 38 special, 9mm, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP.
 
The divisions consist of rimfire 22 lr pistols and rifles; iron sight and optics, Centerfire PCC, and all centerfire handguns.
 
Setup starts at 7 am. All attendees please take part in setup if you can.
Check in starts at 8 am. Safety Brief at 8:45 am. All attendees must be present for the safety brief to participate in the event. Match starts at 9 am.

Vanilla Gorilla Security - Rifle/Pistol Fundamentals (E8)

VGS will be hosting our Rifle/Pistol fundamentals and facades course on October 28 from 9am-3:30pm. This course will consist of an in-depth classroom portion learning the foundational elements of Rifle/Pistol shooting from the ground up. On the range, students will work their pistols first then incorporate rifle and practice basic SEAL operators’ standards drills that utilize both weapons systems. The Range portion will also include movement drills with various facades to include barricade, door, and threshold shooting at paper and steel targets.

Cost = $250.00 for Registration. Students must bring their own rifle/pistol ammunition at least 150 rounds per weapon.
